Obviously you don't know Search Engine Optimization. Engines read 
down the left side of the page first. Arabic sites are on the right.

Research means nothing when you have to deal with real word applications.

If it's a site you want to get out into the engines, then keep it 
simple and your links along the left. If you don't care about the 
engines, then do it anyway you want.
