Dipoles, verticals?? How simple can they get? Wire or tubing...the choice is
yours..
Use what you have...and just build it! :)  Use plastic as the
insulators....plastic from a bottle or rods or whatever.....(being a
scrounger helps here :)

A simple beam would be the Moxon or Quad (easier to build than a yagi)...you
can find lots of easy antenna ideas and theory at Cebik's web site:
www.cebik.com   Click on the Tales and Technicals link and you will find a
vast warehouse of antenna ideas, etc..
