I had a Ham friend who passed on 10plus years ago
and I had the unfortunate deed of doing this. His
beloved wife had given him total control of his
expenses. I found 3 computers<trs80 and 2 commodore
64's> and not to mentionall sorts of radios and mags
going bakc to pre war periods. I gave her the list and
bought 2 items from her. Mostly antennas and
hallicrafter radio.
Her land lord of the place snooke into the place
and dumped all her stuff before she had a chance to
sell it off.
She filed a complaint and he claimed it was just
junk.
They need a person who knows the radios and its
value and is in control of the gear.
