Thats an interesting point. My Dad WA1PFS became a silent key earlier this month on Oct. 8th.He always told me he wanted me to have whatever electronics/radio, antennas etc and test equipment he had when his time comes. However, his will states that everything goes to my Mom.Now my Mom is a great lady and is an inactive novice, so she has no problem with it.When the time comes to make out my will, I will be sure to take my equipment into account even though most of it is from EBAY(hihi).Maybe someone can put together a form that lists equipment and how the SK would like it disposed of or distributed down the road and post it on the ARRL site so all can have access to it.

Yes, it is always sad to see a fellow ham go, Jerry was an avid boatanchor
fan. This is something that could happen to one of us at any time.

This kinda hits home, I would like to ask you guys, what is going to become
of your equipment when you die? It is something I am asking myself, I am not
married so that isn't a problem. I would like it to go to my son (W4RXU) and
will trust he will give some of it away to young struggling hams (hoping they
will spark an interest in 6 meters)

I need to find somebody that would carry on the Six Club?

I also want to thank those that had kind words when they thought it was me
that became the SK.

Think about it, many of you will draw up a last will and testament and not
say anything about your ham equipment.
