>From your location I would probably orient it NW to SE which will probably
maximize your US contacts and it should work well to Europe when the band is
really open. Should also be pretty good for the Carribbean as well.

I just finished putting together a 7 element dipole. Tuned it. Wo which
way will I get the biggest bang for the $$$ should I orient it? Grid
square is FN31cr. I was toying with a 120" x 300" (end to end) with my
takeoff angles 30" x 220" True north.
I will be feeding this thing with 450 ladder line from a tuner.
At 90' the overall swr is 1.2:1 centered on 50.200.
Thoughts? Slams?
