I wanted to Thank everyone for there comments
about the 6 m loops whether it was directed at me or
others.
I have never used the 6 m loop yet but do have a
2m loop by m2 at home. Not yet tower or mast mounted,
but plan to in the near future. I have only used 2m
ssb once and found only a few have ever used the mode
in the Philippines. Mostly my old time friends like
WB5LBJ and DU1EV who tried it years ago.
I do need to locate any beacons for the band to
see if at least I can hear any propagations from say
VR2, or JA.
I used the 2m ssb once and it was only with a
radio shack whip antenna. My friend 4F1OZ and I tried
it and I found it alot more fun than FM, only problem
the frequencies I wantedf to listen on <as example
144.110> had local FM. The philippines doesnt use full
2m like the 144-148 but only half. And some places are
just starting to use 2m repeaters, like dx1arm. They
are on 144.96 and are being swamped by pirates.
I do plan to use a 2m and 6m beam and also a loop
as soon as I get back home.

      Larry Fields, n6hpx/du1
