N1OFZ's comments were right on.
I'd much prefer to have a $2000 antenna system on six with any old crappy
transceiver than the world's greatest equipment and a dipole or loop...no
comparison. Where the rubber meets the road, so to speak, the difference
between the stations who make the incredible contacts on six and the ones
who don't comes from antenna systems and operator skill; station equipment
hardly enters into the formula. -WB2WIK/6
