All of this who gets what and how is going to be academic unless we ALL get 
together and try our best to stop BPL. If BPL goes through HF will be 
useless regardless of what class license you hold. Pick your fights ladies 
and gentlemen. It is time we stopped bickering about the small stuff and 
focused on what is really important, keeping  the HF bands and 6 
meters  clear so we can use them. Can you imagine what the critters in 
Washington would do if every Ham started writing and followed up on what 
they are doing.

WE have a choice in what we do, we can sit and whine or we can get off out 
sorry butts and do something about it. If we all united and put up a solid 
front then at the very lease we can say we went down fighting. If we do 
nothing we will surely lose. If we all put our feelings aside for one year 
and spent $39.00 to join the ARRL, we could make a difference. You don't 
have to like the ARRL, but they are the largest organization supporting us 
whether we are members or not. Hell most of us spend that much going to a 
hamfest. This is the time to rally, not bicker about the ARRL, but rather a 
time to let them work for us on this BPL issue. Can you imagine what would 
happen if every Ham in the country stood together at the same time? We can 
do this, we must do this. Then latter we can bitch about who gets on HF and 
how.
