[SixClub] FCC proposal on BPL! There goes the bands!

We as Amateur Radio operators, no matter where your interests lie, need
to get off our a** and send mail to every Congressmen, Senator,
Governor, or
any other agency that has a say on this issue. It is time for all of us
to
make a stand.

I personally have started this process and fully intend to carry it out.
I
would hope that anyone reading this that enjoys Amateur Radio as I do
would do the same. I feel that money spent to send a letter to everyone
to keep BPL from being accepted and implemented is money well spent to
keep this kind of RFI off our low bands. I am more into VHF/UHF than
160-10m, but, I refuse to just sit on the fence and let this happen if
there is any way that I can prevent it.

It's time to rally!

There, I have put my 2 cents worth into the pot.

73's to all.

Tom - K4NAM
Tallahassee, FL.

Hey, I thought the power grid was old, unreliable and outdated. Now they
want to make it the super data hwy!

Six Meters....

Each Saturday 15:00 - 16:00 is "Random Hour" in North America for making
meteor scatter contacts using FSK441 on 50.260MHz. If you don't do WSJT
yet, tune up there and listen for the meteor scatter pings / burns. I
still need 4 contacts to qualify for the RQA (Random QSO Award) so give
me a call.
