the amout of bandwidth that a signal travels in.   such as AM verses CW. cw
travels alot farther, alot easier.
I have a friend here  W5LBT who is big into moon bounce.
he has a very BIG  antenna system, ( 2 meters ).  I go out there and watch
him sometimes  but I have not the patience for moon bounce.  think I'll
stick to 6 meters SSB.
( nor the money ).
