The rig blaster, while a fine product, is IMHO an over-priced "plug-n-play"
sound card to radio interface box for those who can't or won't spend an
hour soldering some basic electronic parts together to build a useful
device. The purchaser ends up paying a premium for the convenience, which
is perfectly acceptable for many.
