For example ten and two meters were very easy for me to figure out an FM simplex calling freq. On six it's a matter of region or opinion. Perhaps you can tell me the history of this lack of concensus?

Heck, my Icom bandplan handout (2004) lists 50.125 as the national calling frequency on one side of the poster and 50.125 as the DX calling frequency on the other side of the same handout (with 50.200 listed as the calling freq). Seems like Icom has a lack of consensus.
