OH BTW for the record, I proposed in 1997 for Texas to go the -1.7 Mhz
split....BUT thanks to Dillo, it never got voted on (which is AGAINST the
Society's own rules!! Bandplan changes are to be tabled when made, then all
the rptr owners/trustees polled and THEN the proposal voted on...funny, the
Society NEVER polled anyone on my proposal....and it was swept under the
table......so much for the Society following its OWN rules!!!) SO much for
the Society serving the members!
OH but DILLO would have to move off their 51.65/52.65 rptr channel....I bet
those with INPUTS on 52.65 really like that!
And I didn't know RF stopped at the state lines...especially on 6!!! DO they
know something I don't??? (and I worked on LOW BAND COMMERICAL gear for 20+
years...I DON'T THINK THEY DO! ;)
