[SixClub] Six meter antennas

Hi David, I made what amounts to a rotatable dipole out of a 1/2' pvc "T",
1/2' and 3/8" tubing, a wooden dowel, 4 small hose clamps and 2' of coax
with a pl259 on only 1 end.

you can break it down to individual peices or reconfigure it in only a few
minutes. Each peice is marked to identify the peice it mates with so tuning
should not be reqiured and I support it with 1-1/4'' pvc cut to 5' lengths
with a bolt to help support each joint.

Although not "directional" in the true sense, you might be suurprised at the
increase in RX when you "point" it in a partivular. I worked several VE
stations the first day I built it while visiting my son near Raleigh NC with
my 25w 5054.

And you could just build a small 3-el beam and disassemble it, just be sure
to mark the peices once you've put it together and tuned it. Multi-colored
tape works great.

I'll put mine to use in two weeks when I go to Winston Salem with my wife.
While shes in her meetings, I'll be going "CQ 6 meters CQ 6 meters" from
somwhere at the hotel. good luck
