Use RG 8 or 9913 or better...remember 6 is VHF, not HF! Here, every 
little bit helps....RG 6 is 75 ohm line....not 50ohms.....mismatch 
causes higher loss coax....unless the line is so low, the loss + match 
loss is lower than the equiv in 50 ohm you want to use (which is true in 
CATV hardline vs RG8 or other coax :)
So unless you have low loss CATV HARDLINE, use 50ohm COAX for your 
projects on VHF..
