[SignalOne] Looking for a Round Tuit

So - a few projects on my CX7A. Need to do the modification to fix the
injection level at the product detector, but since the radio was working
and all together, I was reluctant to dive back into it.

HOWEVER - the tuning has changed. The screen current keeps wanting to
go off the scale, and I am having trouble getting decent output and
keeping it below 12.
I suspect that the parallel resistors that I put on the power supply
board to sense the screen current have gone off value. They are
metal-film, and I thought I'd get away with it because I doubled the
wattage. Maybe not. Gotta get into it & measure that resistance. The
original one had gone from - IIRC - 100 ohms to 180 ohms. That resistor
has a hard life.

I am also working on the screen protection circuit described in the S1
newsletter Volume 3, #3. Instead of building it on perfboard and the RF
dectors on terminal
strips, I am doing three proper circuit boards, designed on KiCAD.
Double-sided boards, ground planes both sides, solder mask, silkscreens.
  Surface
mounted parts to keep them small, through-hole parts where it makes
sense. Double row IDC connector on the amplifier board. Ten-turn pots
for the adjustments.

All three boards ( amplifier board and two RF detector boards ) fit in a
single snap-apart board that qualifies for the cheap deal at JLCPCB.
Two bucks for five boards, plus $1.50 shipping.

                       - Jerry, KF6VB
