*** It's just a trap vertical.  Radiates equally poorly in all 
directions :).
It uses an "Ufer" ground, which consists of 80 feet of copper wire 
embedded in a
10x70 foot concrete slab.  There's an MFJ kilowatt autotuner at the base 
of the antenna.

   I'm honestly surprised you could hear me. I guess you would have 
copied me fine
if I'd been using the linear - which I have yet to adapt to this radio.
