Hey Jerry,
Sorry we didn't succeed in a contact the other night. I could hear you weakly on 40 but I guess you have a better antenna than I because you couldn't hear me.
Anyway the trimmer behaviour is normal. They never oscillate over more than a very small portion of their range.
