Hello Fern!

In the late MilSpec 1030C/CM radios, they combined both the standard and optional transmit filter boards into one board and shoe-horned it into a small space under the the shielded receiver board assembly on the underside of the chassis. 

It is a very nicely designed board and works well, but it is a good idea to replace the tantalum decoupling caps on it as they are woefully underrated.
