Approximately 2 years ago I came across a tailgater at the Kingman, AZ
swap meet. I learned he had a lot more misc Signal/One parts and
documentation back in Casa Grande. Evidently this individual had
purchased the contents of one of Don Roehrs lockers. Over two trips I
purchased many of these items. A lot of the documentation was water
damaged but still readable. All the parts are good. I have all sorts of
items such as NOS knobs for the CX7 / CX11 and the Milspec 1030CI. I
have a number of the push button switch banks and several of the Milspec
1030 thumb wheel assemblies. I also have several brand new 1030CI/IC781
CRT assemblies. I even have a stack of Don Roehrs business cards.

There were probably 30 or more of the IC781 Power Supply/PA heat sink
aluminum blocks. It appears he would the original aluminum castings,
strip the PS and PA, and them sandblasted then weld up several of the
holes. . These were ready for the additional machining necessary to fit
the stock HP cabinet. It looked as if he was stocked up to make a big
batch of 1030 CI. There were IC781 carcasses scattered around. A lot of
stuff had been left out in the rain and blowing sand.....very sad.

If anyone has some special needs contact me at nu6x at esedona.net.

BTW, I bought the prototype Milspec 1030E DSP front panel as a
conversation piece. I never dreamed Darrell could turn it into an
operating radio. *Way to go Darrell!!!**
