Moving to smaller quarters forces me to sell one of my favorites.  Here 
is a chance to own one of the best transceivers from days gone by.  This 
is a CX7A with LED readout, in beautifull condition. Serial number is 
0017213315, Gardena, Calif.  It has been in storage for the past three 
months, but up to that time had been used on a daily basis. The switches 
all function and as you can see the printing is not worn.  There is a 
RIT mod done. The FSK shift is used as a RITcontrol. There is 
documentation for this. The manual and broad band tuning work as per 
specs. Power output and receiver senstivity are within specs.

In addition the origional maintenance and operating manuals are 
included. The maint manual has a loose cover and first page. It also has 
pencilled notes in the border. There is also a list of mods and notes 
(139 to be exact) from W8CXS as well as copies of other mods from 
various magazines and S1 News.

This radio comes with the AC chord and connector but does not include 
the mike or speaker. I do have extra 8072 finals I will make available 
to the buyer at reasonable cost.

Not a bad price.  I paid $200 plus shipping for my 
guarenteed-to-arrive-dead CX7A about 5, 6 years ago.  I got the 2nd PTO 
working and fixed some other minor problems.  I still have to replace 
the 4CX350F with the 8072.
