I have a Signal/One CX-7A that has a loud hum now. It sounds like one of
the low voltage regulator transistors shorted out? Does anyone know of a
source of regulator boards and/or the ON/OFF switch replacement? I had
heard there was a replacement regulator board that someone had developed?
is this true?

This list is for discussions regarding collecting, repair, use and sale of
Signal/One radios and accessories.
Documentation on Signal/One radios can be found at http://www.hamanuals.com
and several other sites on the Web.
I was hoping that current users of Signal Ones would check in, but would
certainly not exclude anyone wishing to share in the joys of ham radio. As
an
old Chinese proverb states; "Pleasure shared is pleasure doubled."
