Doc and all,
 
I heard Bill, KA4GAV, during the net but not very well. I think I wrote his  
call on my sheet but wasn't able to pull him out. Odd how propagation is 
working  these days. My dipole is broadside east/west and should easily hear a 
station in  Seattle. Doc was a steady S9 or a little better in Manassas, VA. The 
dipole is  at 55'. Our attempt to meet again on 20 meters on Sunday was foiled 
by band  conditions. By 2:00 PM eastern time 20 was pretty well out. Looking 
forward to  seeing you all on 40 next Saturday night.
