That must be the crumbly looking "disk ceramic" in the air behind
my AC switch.

I'll be getting the RF parts to convert my CX7A from a 4CX350F
to an 8072.  Probably won't get to work on that until summer.

I downloaded but haven't printed the Thomas Manual. I wasn't able
to download the CX7 checklist, maybe this weekend. 

I'm working out a deal with a fellow on the west coast who works
with land mobile radios.  I've asked for some known-good 8072 tubes. 

I listen to the CX7A all the time.  It works well in receive.

It's a class-radio.  I think that when the CX7 was $2,200 that a
KWM2A with power supply was over $3,500.

de ah6gi/4  my dream station will be the CX7A, SB-104A, and an
SB-102/SB-303.
