[SignalOne] CX7A Status and puzzlement.

This recent discussion of S/1 experiences has been most enjoyable, I
hope we can share other experiences from time to time.

However no one has really addressed my original question: Is there any
value to keeping a CX7 original and unmodified?

I've had this on the air; it's not really fun or even acceptable to use
because of the numerous annoyances that have been described in the
newsletters. This would be my third CX7 rework, so I guess there's not
much of a new experience other than to see if I've learned anything (or
lost any skills!) over the 20 years since the last time.

I don't know if anyone would want to swap a modded one for an original
one so unless there are any other ideas I guess I should get to work and
do the engineering S/1 never got around to.
