Terry -

Try your local hardware store. They often have 
this kind of thing. You might have to buy a whole 
sheet - for a few bucks. You could also use 
something else, maybe the plastic web used to 
hold six-packs together. Or, perhaps you might 
slice up a polyethylene milk bottle (make sure 
it's empty! ;-) Or, get a polyethylene drawer 
organizer (for silverware etc.) and cut the 
desired size chunk of plastic out of it.
