Aw - the last rose of Summer!

The bike riders are changing spokes and the auto racers are back home replacing suspension systems.

So what is an erstwhile radio communicator to do before the first snow flies?

There's a run (33 miles) on a piece of the Tahoe Rim Trail, between Tahoe City and Brockway Summit.  Communications?  Impossible!  Except, of course, for the amateur radio enthusiast.

The race coordinators are looking for that superior communicator to take charge of the radios and collect some 10 associates to work the 7 aid stations and home base.  

A great ten hour day in the beautiful Sierra Nevada in the Fall.  Doing what you do best.  Can there be more?
