Hopefully you noted the 8-30 reflector notice offering the Level I Emergency Communications course in Carson City.

Usually this is an Internet course and, in that venue, it's excellent.  But to be able to interact with others in a classroom atmosphere, you have the best of both worlds.  You'll learn a lot from the teachers and you improve your communications abilities with others in the class.

The Level I ARECC course is the BEST of the three!

Class starts at 1800 on September 14th.  It'll go for eight weeks - every Wednesday.

Location for the class is the Carson City Senior Center - 909 Beverly Drive.  Right here in the Carson Valley.

If you are interested in ARES, interested in emergency communications or just want to improve your ability on the radio, this course will give you a leg up from where you are.  Guaranteed!!
