I just wanted to let John's friends at SIERA know that he was in an auto 
accident earlier today coming down the truck route from Virginia City.

He's OK - just a bump on the chin and the aches and pains are starting to 
kick in. He was driving his white Toyota with the flat bed, taking things 
to our storage unit, when he encountered sand on the road. Apparently the 
truck went into a skid, and he was unable to keep it on the road. It went 
over the embankment and rolled three times before coming to rest 25' down.

The truck is a total loss, but it looks like John is going to be OK. Thank 
heaven!
