...Wind Advisory in effect from noon this afternoon to 9 PM PST this
evening...

The National Weather Service in Reno NV has issued a Wind Advisory.

Southwest winds will increase to 20 to 40 mph by this afternoon and
will continue through early evening. Local gusts to 60 mph are
possible...especially along the 395 corridor...and in wind prone
areas such as Stead and Washoe Valley. The winds are expected to
decrease later this evening.
