Report from KT6JS:  10:50  2-16-04

Currently 41 degrees and 32 mph guest with moderate rain showers at 
6400 feet. Just talked with a skier on HT at the top of heavenly and he 
reported rain almost to the top of Heavenly and high winds.

1800Z regional radar showing showers from CA/OR border south to Fresno 
(FAT) at this time. Tops of clouds to 30,000 feet in Sac Valley, 
Heaviest cells moving to the east and northeast at 40 mph.

16KM water vapor satellite loop shows  pronounced Hawaiian connection 
and copious subtropical moisture flowing up from the the pacific 
between 20 and 40 latitude.
