Hello There! 
The good news of the day is that Bob was moved from ICU to interim ICU 
yesterday afternoon. He has been out of bed to sit in a chair several times and 
feels much better since he can relieve the pressure on his back! He still is not 
allowed to eat or drink, and is still on dialysis, but his color has improved 
greatly as have most of his vital signs. And his mood is getting' edgy - a sure 
sign of recovery. I am printing out all of your well wishes and taking them 
up for him to read as he still doesn't want to try talking on the phone with 
the ng tube in place. Besides, they don't let us use cell phones in interim ICU 
either.
