*GET READY FOR MORE FLARES:* A new and potentially very active sunspot 
group emerged today. It announced itself with an X1-class solar flare, 
which caused a strong shortwave radio blackout over the Atlantic Ocean 
and Europe. More flares may be in the offing as the sunspot turns toward
