I hate to be the bearer of bad news but our dear friend Bill has passed away to 
the big ham shack in the sky.

Bill was an amazing friend and ham radio enthusiast.  His dear wife Jeannette 
has said that the funeral will be arranged in the near future but because of the 
rise in numbers of COVID the family will arrange a virtual celebration of life.

Here is the message that Jeannette posted on her facebook page.

Today at 3pm, after a long and hard-fought battle, Bill Lucado stepped from his 
hospital room into glory where he heard “Well done my good and faithful 
servant.” He was the love of my life and my soul-mate and I was so blessed to 
have had him in my life for the last 41 years. 23 years ago we were given a 
special gift when he received a liver transplant which we are truly grateful 
for. You will be greatly missed my love!/
