Earth's magnetic field on April 24th at 2307 UT, hours earlier than 
expected. A sudden discontinuity

solar wind speed and density heralded its arrival, followed by a sharp 
jolt in magnetometers around the world. Conditions are currently 
favorable for the development of G1-class

Earth moves through the CME's wake
