BIG SUNSPOT ALERT: There's a new sunspot on the sun--and it's a big one. 
AR2778 contains a dozen dark cores sprawling nearly 100,000 km across 
the solar surface. Earlier today, it began to strobe Earth with minor 
C-class solar flares, activity which could intensify if the sunspot's
