[SFDXA] Petition to the FCC for new Technician allocations

Apparently my apology didn't make it to all this morning as it only went out to Pete.
 
Yeah, that was a little harsh and for that I apologize. I was following some posts on this somewhere else and it had me running a little hot. There is sometimes way too much ego in ham radio and I have seen a lot of new hams leave the hobby because of it. I would rather see people encouraged rather than discouraged. I have always thought that giving technicians a little more access to bands on HF would be great and motivate them to move forward in the hobby. After all, it is a hobby. I enjoy talking to the new hams. 

I have been to field days where attitude and yelling from some of the older guys are the norm. I have also heard new guys berated on the air. Perhaps some of you just don't realize you are doing it.

Sorry Dave, the comment wasn't meant to single you out. I am also sorry to anyone that was offended by my comment. This has been a hot topic on other groups and I was a little fired up at the time. Still no excuse.
