 From Tony N2MFT:
Thanks to Jack W4JS and Dan K3ZXL

Here's some news from Dan-K3ZXL regarding the 60m band, where he has
been quite active over the past 13 years.  Dan's comment about the low
bands being the most productive during this era of zero useful sunspots
is quite on target.

FYI. 60 meters newsletter attached.
I just issued 60 meter WAS certificate No. 24 to KF6HI
For those not familiar with 60, I have been on 60 meters since 2005 and
We ( W8GEX and myself ) issue the WAS and DXCC awards to the deserving.
A 43 ft vertical is self resonant on 60 and no tuner needed.
I used to own and operate the 60 meter website, but passed that on to
another ham.
When conditions are poor on High Bands, 30 through 160 are still active
and workable since sunspots have little to no effect on those bands it
seems.
And 60 is a fun band.
Best Regards
Dan Schaaf
