Chris Hite, vice president of the Wellington Radio Club, adjust his 
amateur short wave radio as club president, Larry Lazar, looks on. Hite 
will serve as manager of the upcoming amateur radio field day in 
Wellington. June 28-29, amateur radio clubs across the nation and this 
region will hold a major field exercise, practicing getting in touch 
with other operators and using emergency power to simulate post-storm 
conditions. The Wellington Radio Club is taking the exercise very 
seriously, inviting the public to watch how it's all done. (Mark
