I use the RBN for comparison of my antenna to N4IS on 160. It helps us know
what is happening, and has helped me know that my antenna needs some work...
now fixing that !

ALSO ! When People are whining that the bands are dead, I can go to 12 M CW
(or some other band) and call CQ and se how many stations in the US and
Europe hear me. Surprise Surprise, The bands aren't dead only those
complaining... I see good reports of my signal on many stations RBN
reports... There is just NO ONE THERE TO WORK !!

Go figure... The bands are open much more that people think, they just
don't go call CQ and let others know that they want a QSO !

This is pretty slick; N6NC, Larry in San Diego has a "skimmer" in service
at his qth and I was able to find my cow 40 meter signal on his receiver as
well as a few others. This has been around for awhile but I don't have any
idea how many guys have tried it out.

Good DX!
