[SFDXA] It is more then just random images

As Bill said, there are at least two objectives with the request for member
pictures. One is to full fill the plan to have a webpage for each regular
members station/antenna. There are some already in place. Another quest are
images of past club activities that can be organized into club visual history or
past activities. Finally another use of both categories of images is to
construct a presentation of SFDXA members and club activities for use at the
upcoming Miami Hamfest. We have in the past used 35mm slides in a continuous
carousel presentation device; today's goal is to do that with a computer
presentation.

The current priority is the last item, MIAMI Hamfest SFDXA computer
presentation. The first challenge is getting the appropriate images, with
identification, and dates if they are of an event. Then then have to be
organized or grouped into a rational relationship, e.g. Member and equipment,
present and past, or by activity, picnic, DX dinners, antenna raising parties,
etc. They may also need some type of chronological sequencing so that a 'slide'
presentation creates a logical series of events or evolution.

Or none of the above and it can be a random selection of images from a big
bucket of material. I prefer a more organized presentation. Once in that
form, there are many video-slide formatting applications also capable of adding
audio for additional enhanced presentation.

Some of these tasks can benefit by distributed processing (with a common
organizational goal) and other parts of the task will take some knowledge and
skill in creating the presentation with appropriate transition slides and
accompaniment. This is the volunteer work I am seeking because of the work
scope, and my lack of knowledge for some of these tasks.

 Regards,

Norm
