Please see below, I met Hector on the air a couple of years ago when he was an 18 year old student who successfully built his own ham radios and made lots of satellite contacts from different grid squares in Cuba. He is a very nice young man. He will be in the south Florida area next week. If anyone would like to meet him or donate any equipment, let me know. Not sure yet how long he will be staying in our area.

>Hello Bill
>I hope everything is well with you!
>Finally, I will attend the 2012 AMSAT Symposium. Wow!! It has not been an easy process!
>I will arrive at Miami next Wednesday 24th .So, Patrick and I will go to Orlando on Thursday 25th and we will come back to Miami after the Kennedy tour. I will be a week in USA and will be in Miami at the arrive and departure. My fly is between Miami – Cienfuegos (my city).
>I will appreciate so much any kind of donation. Here, is very difficult to find anything about radios or computers. Anything which could be an obsolete or ancient object for you will represent a great treasure for me. It could be a great opportunity to complete my EME station!!!!
>
>My family and my girlfriend `s family is saving money for my trip but I am aware that it will not be enough to buy any radio.
>
>I am very proud of the AMSAT community in general. A lot of Satellite operator and in special Patrick have been working to come true this wonderful dream!
>
>Is it there any possibility of meet you personally?
