Hi Norm,
I learned of the need only at the meeting. So was that a yes? You will
donate the cable? It should be about 5 ft long.
No it is not advisable to make up your own cables with USB connectors.
The cable itself must be constructed with the correct pairs twisted, and
in the spec twist pitches. Otherwise we invite all kinds of RFI
problems. This one will be used at K4FK with up to 1500 W transmitted.
I don't want to the the "we got lucky game" with RFI/EMC issues.
