The Guardian (U.K.) has a story about the upcoming referendum that will 
ultimately result in the (re)creation of South Sudan.

Given the issues involved, I’m not all that sure I would want to be part of a 
first-operation once the new entity is recognized – PJ this ain’t!
 
Also, since Russia has declined to renew their lease on Malyj Vysotskij Island 
(R1MV) I’m wondering if there’s an official date being set when this joins the 
Deleted Entities list.
