Peter,
Congratulations on a very nice catch!
If you haven't already, you should send a detailed signal report to 
Fritz, W1FR. There may still be a form on the web site. He is one of the 
instigators of the 600m band experiments. Fritz is the chief at Green 
Mountain Radio Research; they are pioneers in ultra-high efficiency (and 
class-E) RF amps.
They definitely want detailed sig reports.
