Some may find this of interest, Larry has been a Chagos staple for a long time.  
He has been very active on many bands in the last few days both his usual CW and 
a lot of RTTY.  Good time to pick up a few RTTY band/modes

VQ9- Chagos-Archipel: Larry, VQ9LA, will depart Diego Garcia (AF-006) on
     January 24th. He has been there since  December 2002 and plans to
     operate as much as possible up to the last day with an emphasis on
     the lowbands and RTTY. Larry will spend part of the year in the US and
     in the Philippines as DU3/N0QM on 40 through 10 m, CW and RTTY.
