That's really cool.
Like a Log-Periodic antenna, which ever section of the system is resonant
does the work, and the other elements just don't do anything. In this amp
which ever section of the tube line-up is resonating via the continuous
coil - what is it, I forget F=2*Pi / FC ?... so even though there are 18
tubes in the output section, only two or three are making any power / on
each side at a time. Maybe 3 tubes on each side of the rail x 2 = 6 250B's
is an easy kilowatt - three on each side at whatever frequency happens to be
resonating while the rest of the valves aren't being excited.
No tune Log-Per Amplifier. I'm impressed.
