[South Florida DX Association] Windows question

Hi Tom,

My intranet server runs Win2K Pro SP2. I wrote a command file "TimeSync.cmd"
to initiate time synchronisation. There is a shortcut to the script, set to
run minimised, in the Startup menu.

Here is the script:

cd\
net time /setsntp:time.nrc.ca
w32tm -v -once
Exit

Save to C:\Program Files as timesync.cmd

You can replace time.nrc.ca with the SNTP server of your choice.

The shortcut to timesync.comd should be configured as "Run Minimised" and
placed in the Startup menu.

Hope this helps.

Cheers for now, 73,
Adam VA7OJ/AB4OJ

Subject: [South Florida DX Association] Windows question

For the record, I use XP on all my computers. I was asking the question for
someone else.

All of the computers at work have XP with SP2, so I was not able to check
there. I have a Windows 2K install disk but did not want to go to the bother
of installing it to check this one feature.

No one said it is built in. So it looks like third party software is
required for this feature.

Thanks
Tom N4TL
