Hi Tom,
I still use my old Icom 28H in the car or the 228H due to the great front end. It is impervious to intermod. But our intermod I
suspect is worse than what you have up there. I have a Kenwood TM-V7 here in the shack. It is a nice with both bands. I also like
the newer Icom 2720? Dual receive so you can listen to two frequencies on the same band. I like the TM-V7 for the same reason.

Get whatever one you like and then if you have intermod you can get the PAR filters which block about everything. Thats what I used
to eliminate intermod on the TM-V7 and Icom 706 in the car...
