Please feel free to pass this on to your DX buddies and DX clubs. The
ARRL DXCC Desk has received a number of requests (emails, phone calls,
etc.) from DXers asking "if we got their DXCC applications". As most of
you know the deadline for the 2003 annual listing was September 30th.
With this in mind many last minute submissions have been made, including
yours truly (58 QSOs). It takes the staff "3-5 days to get the mail
opened and mail-logged", says N7NG, Wayne Mills. Wayne asks that those
who have recently submitted cards to the DXCC Desk allow five days "to
get their calls up on the web site". It might be a good idea to hold =
off
on asking "did you get my application" until late next week. This will
allow the staff more time to "get the job done".
